What is an Operating System?

     Operating systems are installed onto computer hardware. Such that it provides a foundation to whatever the user wants it to be agumented/used for. In most cases, a lot of people want there experience to be as simplified as possible and everything has been neatly laid out for them. In other cases, people may want to have far more flexability so they may want a diffrent operating system which serves that purpose.
